   I am 27. At the age of 13 I had lung tuberculosis, since that time there was no relapse. In 2006 last time I made roentgen, the picture was great. Now I am pregnant, term of pregnancy is 7 weeks, I feel myself good. Question: I am taking balsam “Rebirth” capsules from the first days of planning, i.e. 2 months. After that I was appointed to take Vitrum Prenetal Forte with iodine. Can it be overdosing of iodine? I have been drinking 2 medicines together during 2 weeks both vitamin and balsam, no complaints. Please, advise me. Is overdosing of iodine harmful or not?

   Good day! Don’t worry it can’t be overdosing of iodine, it is like halogen during 27 hours iodine is withdrawing from body completely. Also if you are prescribed vitamins, on the contrary it is better to have more iodine as vitamin digestion depends directly on iodine. All the best!
